Ravenstein Galleria revitalization concept

Credits—

Summary—
The Ravenstein Galleria in Brussels, Belgium is favored with impressive architectural features and location, but was experiencing low tenancy and general lack of use.

We formulated a revitalization concept that started with an understanding of the site in its next larger context, its urban neighborhood. After conceiving of a multi-faceted strategy that leveraged this context, we considered how the site architecture would transform to support the strategy, and suggested new events, programs, and tenants that would fulfill the strategy.

We explained the strategy in conceptual terms, defined rough schematic architectural plans, and finished by suggesting possibilities for a bilingual identity and marketing program supporting the new space.
