Trek Ride Club
A ride tracking platform to get more people riding their bikes, more often

CHALLENGE
Enhance brand engagement by extending Trek’s ethos of “unreasonable hospitality” to a digital platform for riders.
APPROACH
We built a ride tracking platform leveraging Trek’s strengths to help riders find great places to ride, help them find their way on the bike, and reward them for the riding they do. Sticky features keep riders engaged, and increase visits to their local Trek retailer.




BEACHHEAD
Behind competitors like Specialized and Cannondale, the Ride Club launch gave Trek a beachhead in this digital space.
UNGUIDED SHOPPING
Despite a soft launch in only one market, millions of miles were tracked in the first six months.
GUIDED SHOPPING
Rider retention (active users) was estimated as meaningfully higher than others in the competitive space.
